Enraged

Enrages me to stand on unequal ground,
enrages me to be born in this unequal predatorial society,
where everyone is seen as prey and everyone is trying to be the predator.

The look on every human being's face screams of the same fear and lack of love,
because all that they expect upon them is the same lack of equality that their past has shown,
everyone's a prey and everyone's a predator.

There is no reaching of peace or tranquility,
peace is just the carrot on a string dangling infront of each one of our faces,
giving us that last shinning light of hope,
one day peace will be there as one day we will outrun our shadow.
